Referred to the Somerset county delegation.

On motion of Mr. Wilson, of Harford,

Leave was granted the Harford county delegation to bring
in a bill for the protection of certain game in Harford
county.

On motion of Mr. Bayless,

Leave was granted Messrs. Bayless, Briscoe, Maxwell,
Ford and Berry, to bring in a bill to prevent the selling or
pedling of carriages, hacks, gigs and buggy wagons, not
manufactured in this State.

On motion of Mr. Turner, of Baltimore city,

Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to intro-
duce a bill of the Baltimore city Railway Association.

On motion of Mr. Turner, of Howard,

Leave was granted the Howard county delegation to intro-
duce a bill to authorise the commissioners of Howard county
to levy a sum of money to rebuild a school house in School
district No. 1, of said county, and to authorise the trustees of
the said school to sell any portion of the said school house
lot as they may judge to be unnecessary for the purposes of
said school, and to apply the proceeds to the improvement of
the school house and grounds.

On motion of Mr. Harding,

Leave was granted the Montgomery county delegation to
introduce a bill providing compensation for the trustees of
the poor of Montgomery county.

On motion of Mr. Claggett,

Leave was granted the committee on claims to introduce
a bill to have refunded to Levin West, of Frederick county,
certain sums of money erroneously paid by him into the State
Treasury.

On motion of Mr. Ford,

The rules were suspended to enable him to offer a petition
from Thomas Lee, asking money to be refunded erroneously
paid into the State Treasury;

Referred to the committee on Claims.

On motion of Mr. Routzahn,

Leave was granted the Frederick county delegation to re-
port a bill to authorise the clerk of the Circuit court of Fred-
