So the order was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Compton,

Leave was granted the committee on the Militia to report
a bill for the purpose of making an appropriation, to arm the
Charles County Cavalry company.

On motion of Mr. Stanford,

Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to intro-
duce a bill to incorporate the Old School Regular Particular
Baptist church, in the town of Salisbury.

On motion of Mr. Stanford,

Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to report
a bill to authorize and facilitate the erection of Mills, in
Somerset county.

On motion of Mr. McAllister,

Leave was granted the Baltimore city delegation to in-
troduce a bill to regulate the payment of the fees to the criers
of the courts of Baltimore city.

On motion of Mr. Freaner,

Leave was granted the Washington county delegation to in-
troduce a bill entitled, an act to amend the eighty-fifth sec-
tion of article twenty-one of the code of public local laws, by
increasing the salary of the clerk of the county commission-
ers of Washington county.

On motion of Mr. Long,

The rules were suspended to allow him to offer a petition
from sundry citizens of Somerset county, praying that the
law for the protection of certain game in Howard county,
and the several counties therein mentioned, may be altered
and changed as to Somerset county.
