capital stock of the Baltimore and Potomac Railroad com-
pany.

Mr. Wootton, from a select committee, reported favorably
on the bill entitled, an act to authorise the Baltimore and
Ohio Railroad company to subscribe to the capital stock of
the Baltimore and Potomac Railroad company;

Which was read the first time.
On motion of Mr. Goldsborough,

The rules were suspended, and the said bill read the sec-
ond time, and by special order the third time, and passed by
yeas and nays as follow:
