Mr. Medders, from minority of the committee on Corpora-
tions, reported the bill entitled, an act to incorporate the
Citizens Passenger Railway company, of Baltimore, and to
secure for railway purposes by proper penalties, the use of
certain streets in the city of Baltimore;

Which was read the first time, and made the order of the
day for Tuesday next,

Mr. Seth, from the select committee on the Baltimore and
Ohio Railroad, made a report:

Mr. Bryan, from a select committee, reported favorably
on the bill entitled, an act for additional compensation to the
witnesses summoned from Prince George's county, to attend
the trial of William T. Talbert;

on Senate bill entitled, an act to add the following section to
article 14th of the code of public local laws for Kent county,
title, Roads:

Mr. Goldsborough, from a special committee, reported
favorably on Senate bill entitled, an act to appoint an ad-
ditional justice of the peace in the second election district, of
Caroline county.

Mr. Beall, from a select committee, reported favorably on
the bill entitled, an act to establish a uniform system of pub-
He schools in Allegany county, and to repeal the 147, 148,
149, 150, 151, 152, 153, 154, 155, 156, 157, 158, 159, 160,
161, 162, 163, 164, 165, 166, 167, 168 and 169th sections of
article first of the code of public local laws relating to Alle-
gany county;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. McCleary, from a special committee, reported favorably
on the bill entitled, an act to create a new election district in
Allegany county;                                                           

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Goldsborough, from the committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably on the bill entitled, an act authorising the
closing of a road in Caroline county, therein mentioned;
