So the substitute was adopted, and the bill made the order
of the day for Tuesday next, the 6th of March ;
Mr. Goldsborough, chairman of the committee on Corpora-
tions, reported favorably on the bill entitled, an act to amend
the second section of article — of the code of public local
laws, by giving additional powers to the corporation of the
city of Annapolis;
Also, on the bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Patapsco
Gas Light Company, of Ellicott's Mills;
Also, on the bill entitled, an act to appoint an additional
justice of the peace in the first election district, of Caroline
county;
Which were severally read the first time.
