On motion of Mr. Smith,

. Leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to intro-
duce a bill to incorporate the Barehill Mining Company, of
Baltimore county.

On motion of Mr. Routzahn,

Leave was granted the Frederick county delegation to in-
troduce a bill to authorise the clerk of the Circuit Court of
Frederick county, to record a deed from William Bowlas to
Adam Koogle.

On motion of Mr. Mills,

Leave was granted the Carroll county delegation to report
a bill changing the place of holding the polls of the fourth
election district of Carroll county, from Thomas S. Brown's,
to Uhler's Tavern.

On motion of Mr. Briscoe,

Leave was granted the Calvert county delegation to report
a bill entitled, an act to authorise Elisha Howes, of Calvert
county, to dispose of certain negroes as slaves for life.

On motion of Mr. Krafft,

Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill entitled, an act for securing debts.

On motion of Mr. Freaner,

Leave was granted the Washington county delegation to
introduce a bill fixing the compensation of the Judges of the
Orphans' Court, of Washington county.

Mr. Naill offered the following :

Ordered, That leave be granted to Mr. Naill, to withdraw
from the files of this House, the petition and accompanying
papers of John D. Ehlers, a private in the Baltimore city
Guards ;

Which was adopted.

Mr. Gordon offered the following :

Ordered, That the committee clerks of this House, be in
attendance in their proper room, or in this House during the
session of this House, and that they be under the direction of
the Chief Clerk;

Which was adopted.
