On motion of Mr. Claggett,

Leave was granted the Frederick county delegation to in-
troduce a bill in relation to the public road, No. 428. on the
road docket of Frederick county.

On motion of Mr. Mackubin,

The petition of sundry citizens of Prince George's county,
asking additional compensation as witnesses when summoned
to Howard county, was withdrawn from the committee on
Claims, and referred to the Prince George's and Howard
county delegations.

The hour having arrived for taking up the order of the
'lay, being the unfinished business of Saturday, (Mr. Jacobs'
bills) the question being upon the motion of Mr. Burgess to
substitute bill No. 51 for the bill of Mr. Jacobs;

Mr. Burgess moved to postpone, and make the bill the spe-
cial order of the day for Monday next;
