On motion of Mr. Gordon,
It was made the order of the day for Tuesday next.

Mr. Freaner moved a suspension of the rules to take up bill
No. 260;

Which was not concurred in.

Mr. Chaplain moved a suspension of the rules to take up
the resolution in regard to Colonel Miles;

Which was not concurred in.

Mr. Legg moved a suspension of the rules to enable him to
call up House bill No. 153;

Which was not concurred in.

Mr. Parran moved a reconsideration of the vote by which
the House refused to take up bill No. 153;

Which was sustained, and the vote reconsidered; when,
On motion of Mr. Briscoe,

Bill No. 153, being the bill entitled, an act to release from
the payment of interest the sureties on the official bond of
James W. Story, collector of taxes for Queen Anne's county
in the year 1855;

Was read the second time, and by special order the third

time.                                                                             

Mr. Parran moved a reconsideration of the vote by which
the vote was ordered to a third reading;

Which was not sustained.

The question then recurring upon the bill;

It was passed by yeas and nays as follow:
