Senate bill entitled, an act to amend the 4th and 5th sections
relating to the almshouse of Queen Anne's county, of article
7 of the code of public local laws;
Also, on Senate bill entitled, an act for the benefit of James
E. Dillen, late sheriff of Queen Anne's county;
Which was read the first time, and referred to the Queen
Anne's county delegation.
Mr. Long, chairman' of the committee on Ways and Means,
reported favorably on Senate bill entitled, an act to pay John
T. Wright, a sum of money for services rendered as assistant
Doorkeeper to the Senate.

The House took up for consideration the bill entitled, an
act to amend the 7th section, relating to summoning jurors,
drawing and challenge, of the 49th article of the code of pub-
lic general laws;
