Mr; McCleary, from a special committee, reported favorably
on the bill entitled, an act to amend an act entitled, an act to
incorporate the Mutual Insurance company, of Allegany
county, passed at December session 1849, chapter 3, and the
supplement thereto passed at December session 1849, chapter
385;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the com-
mittee on Corporations.

The House took up for consideration the bill entitled, an
act to amend the 110th, 111th, 112th and 113th sections re-
lating to penalties for selling lottery tickets of article 30 of
the code of public general laws, and to add the following
sections thereto, for suppressing lotteries;

Which was read the third time, and passed by yeas and
nays as follow:
