Ordered, That a committee of throe be and they are hereby
appointed by they chair, to inquire and report to this House
forthwith, how many police officers and supernumeraries are
in or about the Capitol, and what amount of compensation
they receive, and whether their services are required by the
public good;

To defray the expense of retaining counsel and prosecuting
in the Supreme court of the United States, the writ of error
