On motion of Mr. Denison, of Baltimore city,
It was ordered, That when this House adjourns, it stands
adjourned until Monday, at eleven o'clock.
On motion of Mr. Griffith,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to intro-
duce a bill to apply the fines and forfeitures of the State to
the general school fund of the State.
On motion of Mr. McAllister,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill to prohibit any member of the city council, en-
tering into any contract or engagement whatever, directly or
indirectly in connection with any grant, privilege, right or
immunity, on the part of the mayor and city council, which
may be passed, or pending, or originating during their mem-
bership of said council, and for two years thereafter.
On motion of Mr. Welch,
Leave was granted the Anne Arundel county delegation to
introduce a bill for the relief of Robert Franklin, of Anne
Arundel county.
