taxes for St. Mary's county, and to allow as credits in the
same all sums of money for which the State's Attorney may
have receipted.

On motion of Mr. Briscoe,

Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to intro-
duce a bill entitled, an act relating to the decision of cases in
the courts of equity in this State.

Also, leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to

introduce a bill to authorise the removal from the one to the

other courts of causes pending in equity in the Superior court

of Baltimore city, and the Circuit court for Baltimore city,

respectively.

On motion of Mr. Morgan,

The rules were suspended to enable him to report favorably
on the Senate bill entitled, an act to authorise the Comptrol-
ler to adjust the accounts of Henry M. Langley, collector of
State taxes for the first election district of St. Mary's county,
for the year 1851, and to allow as credits on the same all
sums of money for which the State's Attorney has receipted;

On motion of Mr. Bryan,

Leave was granted the Prince George's county delegation
to introduce a bill to amend the 168th and 169th sections of
article 16th of the code of public local laws relating to the
sheriff of Prince George's county.

On motion of Mr. Crowley,

Leave was granted the Baltimore city delegation to intro-
duce a bill to repeal the 895th and 896th sections of the code
of public local laws in relation to wharves and wharfage in
Baltimore city.

On motion of Mr. Turner, of Baltimore city,

Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to intro-
duce a bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Grand Section
of Improved Order of Cadets of Temperance of the State of
Maryland.

On motion of Mr. Worthington,

Leave was granted the Baltimore county delegation to in-
troduce a bill to protect rabbits in Baltimore county.

On motion of Mr. Barnard,

Leave was granted the Allegany county delegation to in-
troduce a bill to divide election districts No. 1, 10 and 14, and
create a new election district at Oakland.
