Leave was granted the Cecil county delegation to introduce
a bill to amend the 83d section of the code of public local
laws for Cecil county, relating to the appointment of bailif
for the town of Elkton, in said county.
On motion of Mr. Ford,
The rules were suspended to enable him to call up the bill
entitled, a supplement to the act entitled, an act to authorise
the consolidation of the Baltimore and Susquehanna Railroad
company with the York and Maryland Line Railroad com-
pany, the York and Cumberland Railroad company, and the
Susquehanna Railroad company, by the name of the North-
ern Central Railway company, passed at January session,
1854, chapter 25;
