On motion of Mr. Salmon,

Leave was granted the Frederick county delegation to in-
troduce a bill to authorise the trustees of primary school No.
64, in Frederick county, to sell said school-house.

On motion of Mr. McAllister,

Leave was granted to the committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill to incorporate St. Vincent's Infant Asylum in
the city of Baltimore.

On motion of Mr. Mills,

Leave was granted the Carroll county delegation to intro-
duce a bill appointing one additional constable and magis-
trate in Hampstead election district of Carroll county.

On motion of Mr. Salmon,

Leave was granted the Frederick county delegation to in-
troduce a bill to prevent the sale of intoxicating liquors within
one mile of Kemptown, in Frederick county.

On motion of Mr. Turner, of Baltimore city,
It was entered on the Journal, that had he been present on
yesterday when the vote was taken on the resolution of Mr.
Compton, relative to Henry Winter Davis, he would have
voted in the negative on said resolution.

On motion of Mr. Maxwell,

Leave was granted the committee on Education to intro-
duce a bill to donate a sum of money to the Elkton academy,
for the purposes of female education.

On motion of Mr. Straughn,

Leave was granted the committee on Claims to introduce
a bill to release the administrator and heir of John Thawley,
deceased, late collector of county and State taxes of Caroline
county, from interest on State tax for the year 1858.

On motion of Mr. Naill,

Leave was granted the Frederick county delegation to in-
troduce a bill to amend the 40th and 188th sections of article
11, of the public local laws.

Also, leave was granted the Frederick county delegation to
introduce a bill to divide the Liberty district in Frederick
county.

On motion of Mr. McAllister,                                     

Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill to change the name of Frederick Jerome Ridga-
way, to that of Frederick Jerome Cahill.
