Which was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Eakle,
Leave was granted the committee on Colored Population,
to introduce a bill for the better regulation of religious wor-
ship of the colored population.
Mr. Stake offered the following :
Ordered, That the Chief Clerk be instructed to advertise
forthwith, in four of the daily newspapers of Baltimore city,
for the space of one week, for proposals for executing the
printing for the present session, for this House; the proposals
to be in and opened on the 15th day of January, and the con-
tract given to the lowest responsible bidder, giving competent
security for the performance of the contract.
