Mr. Maxwell offered the following:
Ordered, That a committee of five be appointed to wait
upon the postmaster of Annapolis, to make some arrange-
ment for regulating the hours of closing the mails;
Which was adopted.
Messrs. Maxwell, Linthicum, Landing, McAllister and
Griffith, constituted said committee.
Mr. Maxwell, from the committee on Corporations, reported
favorably on the bill entitled, an act to incorporate the
Washington county railroad company;
Which was read the first time, and by special order a
