Mr. Beall, from the committee on Pensions, reported un-
favorably on the petition of James Gafford, of Queen Anne's
county, praying for a pension;
Also, on the petition of Elizabeth Bets, the widow of a
revolutionary soldier, praying for a pension;
Which were concurred in.
Mr. Quinlan, from the select committee, reported favorably
on the bill entitled, an act to authorise the commissioners of
Baltimore county, to pay such sum as shall be necessary to
supply the office of the register of wills, of Baltimore county,
with record books, and to levy therefor;
