Booze, Seth, Berry, Crowley, McAllister, Smith, Turner, of
Baltimore city, Denison, of Baltimore city, Coudy, Eakle,
Brining, Freaner, Griffith, Harding, Gordon, Barnard,
Beall, Roop, Gorsuch, Mills, Turner, of Howard, and Brown.

The Speaker laid before the House, the annual report of
the Comptroller and the report of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Montgomery county.

The Speaker appointed Messrs. Miller, Ford, Naill, Hard-
ing and Gorsuch, as the committee on the rules of the House,
under the order offered yesterday by Mr. Miller.

J. S. Biddison, Sergeant-at-Arms, appeared and was duly
qualified.

The Report of the Comptroller was referred to the commit-
tee on Ways and Means, hereafter to be appointed.

Mr. Harding offered the following :

Ordered, That five thousand copies of the Comptroller's re-
port be printed for the use of the members of the House.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Freaner presented the petition for the relief of James
Blair, which was read and referred to the committee on Edu-
cation, hereafter to be appointed.

Mr. Naill presented the petition of the Frederick and Em-
mittsburg Turnpike Road Company, praying that the County
Commissioners may be authorized to subscribe for certain
shares of stock in said Company.

Which was referred to the Frederick county delegation.

Mr. Dennis asked leave to report a bill to pay William T.
G. Polk and H. H. Dashiell, assignees of E. J. Wainright,
a sum of money for printing a list of unpantented lands, &c.

Which was referred to the Somerset county delegation.

Mr. Ford moved that when this House adjourn, it stand
adjourned until Monday morning at 12 o'clock.
