On motion of Mr. McAllister,

Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill, to incorporate the Monumental Steam Towing
company of Baltimore city.                          

On motion of Mr. Wootton,                                         

Leave was granted the Prince George's county delegation
to introduce a bill, to amend article sixteen, of the public
local laws, with reference to the annual publication of loans
from the school fund.                            

On motion of Mr. Booze,              

Leave was granted the committee on Ways and Means to
introduce a bill, to amend the 38th article, section 22, of the
general code of laws.                                                         

On motion of Mr. Coudy,                                         

Leave was granted the Washington county delegation to
report a bill, to authorise an additional magistrate in Dis-
trict No. 5, in Washington county.

On motion of Mr. Stake,                                                   

Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to intro-
duce a bill to amend an act entitled, an act to incorporate a
company to build a bridge across the Potomac river, at the
town of Williamsport.

On motion of Mr. Stake,

Leave was granted the Washington county delegation to
introduce a bill, to amend the 135th section of article 21, of
the local code, so as to allow the mayor and council of Hagers-
town, to levy a larger sum for corporation purposes.

On motion of Mr. Stake,

Leave was granted the Washington county delegation to
introduce a bill to strike out section 330, article 21, local
code, relating to the running at large of hogs and geese in
the town of Williamsport.

On motion of Mr. Landing,

Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to report
a bill entitled, an act to make valid a deed from Powell Patty,
James F. Mills, and John E. H. Marshall, commissioners, to
Zadok W. Bowen, in Worcester county.

On motion of Mr. Worthington,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to bring
