Mr. Carper from the Committee on Internal Improvements,
reported favorably on a bill entitled, "a Supplement to an Act
entitled, an Act to incorporate the Worcester Railroad Company,"
passed at the January session, eighteen hundred and fifty-three,
chapter two hundred and seventy three.
Mr. Silver, from the Committee on Corporations, reported fa-
vorably on the Senate bill entitled, an Act amendatory of the Act
incorporating the convention of the Protestant Episcopal Church
in the Diocess of Maryland, passed at December session, eigh-
teen hundred and forty, chapter sixty seven, authorizing the said
convention to take and hold subscriptions or contributions in
money or otherwise, for religious or charitable purposes.
Mr. Kennedy, from the Committee on Ways and Means, re-
ported favorably on the bill entitled "an Act authorizing the
Comptroller of the Treasury to pay to Oelricks & Lurman the
amount of coupons lost in the mail steamer Arctic.
Mr. Partridge, from the Committee on the Judiciary, asked to
be discharged from the further consideration of the Senate bill
entitled, "an Act amendatory of an act passed at December ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and twenty, chapter one hundred and
sixty-four, entitled an Act incorporating into one the several acts
relating to constables' fees.
Which bill was referred to the Prince George's county dele-
gation.
Also, a bill entitled, an act to amend an act entitled an act to
incorporate the Neptune Mutual Insurance Company of Balti-
more.
Also, a bill entitled, "an Act to make valid a deed from the
Llangollen Mining Company to Henry H. Kight;"
