A bill entitled, an act for the relief of Arnold Pitts, free negro of
the Stile of New York.

Mr. Timmons moved that the amendment of the Senate be
concurred in.                                                                   

Mr. Harris moved to lay the bill on the table;
Determined in the negative.

Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We propose with the concurrence of your honorable body, to
constitute the standing committees on printing of the two Houses,
a joint committee to contract for the printing of the laws that
may be passed at the present session, the contract to be subject
to the ratification of the two Houses.
