On motion of Mr. Askew,
The said resignation was accepted.
Mr. Clark offered the following orders:

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal of this House, that
the select committee appointed to examine into the affairs and
condition of the Farmers and Merchants Bank of Greensborough,
after making their report to this House, (which report, pursuant
to the order of the House, was printed,) offered a bill to repeal
the charter of said Bank; which was referred to the Committee
on Corporations, and has not yet been reported on.

Ordered, That the Chairman of the Committee on Corporations
be requested to make a report on said bill.

Ordered, That the Select Committee be and they are hereby
discharged from all further consideration of the subject.

Which were adopted.

Mr. Silver, from the Committee on Corporations, reported un-
favorably upon the bill entitled,

An act to repeal the act entitled, an act to incorporate the Far-
mers and Merchants Bank of Greensborough;

Which report was adopted.                   

Mr. Merrick offered the following order:

Ordered, That after the hour of nine o'clock this evening, the
House of Delegates will not consider' or pass upon any Bill, ex-
cept Senate bills, or bills amended by the Senate, or Joint Reso-
lution, unless by unanimous consent;

Which was adopted.

Mr. Partridge, from the committee on Judiciary, to whom was

referred the memorial of the heirs of Isaiah Frost, in relation to

certain lands held by the Frostburg Coal Company; and praying

authority to have proceedings instituted in the name of the State

to vacate and annul the charter of said company;

Reported unfavorably thereon,                                             

Which was concurred in.

On motion of Mr. Brown,
The House adjourned until 8 o'clock.
