A bill entitled, an act to alter the district line between the 1st
and 2nd districts of Baltimore county;

A bill entitled, a further supplement to the act of December
session 1827, chapter 111, entitled, an act to regulate sales by-
public auction;

A bill entitled, an act amendatory of an act to incorporate the
village of Bladensburg, in Prince George's county, passed Janu-
ary session 1854, chapter 137;

A bill entitled, an act requiring J. H. Hynes, and Samuel P.
Storm, and P. Hunter, late Sheriffs of Baltimore county to make
statements to the Comptroller of the amount of State taxes due
from them and to pay the same into the Treasury at such times
and on such conditions as are herein provided;

A bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Potomac Iron and
Bridge Company.

A bill entitled, an act to authorize the Washington Hotel Com-
pany, incorporated by the act of 1853, chapter 226, to issue cou-
pon bonds and secure the payment thereof by a deed of trust of
all its property.

A bill entitled, an act for the relief of the sureties on the bonds
of Thos. J. W. Vinson, former collector of the fourth election
district of Montgomery county;

Severally endorsed "passed by yeas and nays."

And delivered

A bill entitled, an act to increase the allowance to the sheriff
of Cecil county, for keeping and boarding in the jail of said
county, such prisoners as may be committed for breaches of the
peace or for criminal offences or otherwise, and for keeping and
boarding any runaway negro, or negro slave committed to the jail
of said county, by any citizen of this State;

Was read the first time and referred to the Cecil county dele
gation.

And a bill entitled, an act to make valid a deed of bargain and
sale from Philemon T. Coleman and Mary A. Coleman, to Mary
Ann Rollison of Kent county;

Was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Griffith, Rowles,
and Dorsey.                                                                       

Mr. Partridge, Chairman of the Committee on Judiciary, re-
ported favorably on a bill entitled, an act relating to non-resident
lunatics entitled to property in this State.

Also a bill entitled, an act to authorise Henry Weast, and
