A bill entitled an act appropriating a sum of money, for the
payment of certain claims therein mentioned;

Was read the second time.

Mr. Frazier moved to amend by striking out the .words "one
thousand three hundred and ninety-three dollars," and inserting
the words "four hundred and twenty-five dollars and eighty cents;

Mr. Frazier moved the following amendments:

Add at the end of the 1st section, "to J. Iglehart & Co., eigh-
teen dollars and seventy-four cents, for articles furnished the Le-
gislature, and J. Weatherby & Co. thirteen dollars and thirteen
cents, for work done on the State House;"                         

Which amendments were adopted.               

The said bill was then read the third time,
