Mr. Harris offered the following amendment:

In 6th line, 8th section, strike out "fifty" and insert "one hun-
dred;"

Amendment assented to.             

Mr. Stubbs offered the following amendment:         

In section 9, line 4, strike out all after the word "residing" to
"retail" in the 6th line, and substitute "within the distance pre-
scribed in the 1st section of this act;"

The said bill was read the second time, and ordered to be en-
grossed for its third reading.

On motion of Mr. Wickes,
The said bill was ordered to be printed by to-morrow morning.
On motion of Mr. Partridge,

The rules were suspended to reconsider the vote upon the bill
entitled, an act to amend an act entitled, an act to incorporate
the Frostsburg Saving Bank.

Mr. Partridge offered the following amendments:         

In the 3rd line of 1st section, strike out the words "President
of said Bank," and insert "Treasurer of this State;" in the 4th
line, after the word "act," insert as follows:

"Together with an agreement by such depositors as may
chose to convert their deposites into stock, that their respective
deposites shall be so converted according to the provision of the
act to which this is an amendment, passed at January session
1854, chapter, 133."

Amendments assented to.
