Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We have received your message proposing to go into the elec-

thereafter into the election of State Director in the Farmers'
Bank of Maryland, and concur therein.

We have nominated Llewellyn Boyle on the part of the Sen-
ate for Librarian, and Reginald D. Woodward for State Director
in the Farmers' Bank of Maryland, and have appointed Messrs.
McCullough and Webster to act as Tellers, on our part, to join
the tellers you have appointed, to count the ballots and announce
the result.

            By order,

                         C. Harwood, Secretary.

The House proceeded to ballot for State Librarian;

The roll was called, and it appeared that fifty-eight members
had voted;

The ballot box was then sealed and delivered by the Speaker
into the hands of Messrs. Dorsey and Roberts, tellers on the part
of the House, to join the gentlemen who had been appointed on
the part of the Senate;

The said Tellers then proceeded to the Senate chamber for the
purpose of counting the ballots;

After some absence the Tellers returned and reported that'
there were seventy-two votes cast in all; of which Llewellyn
Boyle received sixty-one votes, and there were eleven blanks;

The Speaker thereupon declared Llewellyn Boyle duly elected
State Librarian for the term of two years.

The House proceeded to ballot for a Director on the part of
the State in the Farmers' Bank of Maryland, at Annapolis;

The roll was called, and it appeared that forty-five members
had voted;

The ballot box was then sealed and delivered by the Speaker in-
to the hands of Messrs Dorsey and Roberts, tellers on the part of
the House, to join the gentlemen who had been appointed on the
part of the Senate;
