After the words "to be done," In the 14th line of the 4th section,
"and that the person or persons renting or owning the house or
room used as an ordinary, shall pay 10 per cent, on the rent
charged thereon; provided that the minimum charge for license
for ordinary keepers shall not be less than $20, and the maximum
charged for the same shall not exceed $600;"

Which was rejected.                                       

Mr Goldsborough moved to strike out "sixty dollars" and in-
sert "forty dollars," in the 21st line of 4th section;

Which was determined in the negative.                        

Mr. Wickes moved to strike out "forty" and insert "thirty,"
the 18th line of section 4th;
