The rules were suspended to enable him to report a bill enti-
tled, an act to incorporate a Bank at Centreville, in Queen Anne's
county;

Which was referred to the Committee on Corporations.

The House took up for consideration the bill entitled, an act to
prohibit Clerks of Courts from issuing marriage licenses in cer-
tain cases;

Mr. Partridge moved to strike out the second section of said
bill;                                                         

Which was determined in the affirmative.
