Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to intro-
duce a bill to incorporate the Potomac Bank,
On motion of Mr. Partridge,
Leave was granted the Committee on Judiciary to introduce a
bill supplementary to the act of 1854, chapter 325, relating to
the trial of facts in the several circuit courts of this State.
Mr. Stone from the Committee on Claims, reported favorably
on the Senate bill entitled, an act to appropriate a sum of money
to pay W. W. W. Bowie, for legal services rendered the State;
Mr. Frazier from the Committee on Claims, reported the bill en-
titled an act to pay William Snyder a certain sum of money;
With the following amendment:

In the 3rd line of the 1st section strike out, "two hundred"
and insert "one hundred and fifty."
Mr. Partridge from the Committee on Judiciary to which was
referred the Senate bill entitled an act to authorise the Commis-
sioners appointed under the act of 1820, chapter 191, to compel
purchasers at their sales, to comply with the terms of sale, or in
case of refusal or neglect, to resell the property and enforce pay-
ment for the difference, reported favorably thereon.
Also favorably on the Senate bill entitled, an act to extend the
equitable powers of the Circuit Courts in the different judicial
districts in this State.

act entitled, an act to provide for carrying into effect the second
section of the fourth article of the Constitution, passed January
session 1852, chapter 68; enlarging and explaining the opera-
tion of said original act, in aid of the purpose declared in the title
thereof.

proceedings in cases of attachment;

Also favorably on a bill entitled, an act to amend an act passed
at January session 1854, chapter 409, entitled, an act requiring
new bonds to be given by the Clerk of the Court of Common
Pleas in Baltimore city, by the Clerk of the Superior Court of
Baltimore city, and by the Register of Wills of Baltimore city;

And a bill entitled, an act to authorise the County Commis-
