Mr. Wright presented a petition from James L. Ridgely and
100 other tax-payers of the second election district of Baltimore
county, in favor of granting relief to Cornelius H. Owings, one of
the securities of Jesse M. Lowe, late tax collector in Baltimore

Which was referred to the Baltimore county delegation.

Mr. Stone presented a memorial of the agricultural society of
Charles county upon the subject of weighing and measuring
wheat, and asking legislation to prevent frauds arising there-
