Mr. Scott offered the following amendment:

                                                         

Strike out all after the word "books" in the twelfth line, and
insert the following:

Which said books shall be procured and the recording shall be
done before the next session of the Legislature at which session
the payment shall be provided for by the Legislature.         

Amendment assented to.
