regulate the sale of ardent spirits within the village of Salisbury,
in Somerset and Worcester counties;         

                              

Which was read the first time.

Also, a bill entitled, an act to repeal so much of the act of
1854, chapter 194, as relates to the town of Salisbury, in Somer-
set county;

           

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Silver, from a select committee, reported a bill entitled, an
act for the relief of Aquilla Wiles of Harford county;

Which was read the first time.            

Also, a bill entitled, an act for the relief of certain Mutual
Tire Insurance companies of the State therein mentioned;

Which was read the first time.                

Mr. Kildow, from a select committee, reported a bill entitled,
an act to appoint commissioners to run out and mark the line be-
tween election districts numbers one and four, in Allegany coun-

ty;
Which was read the first time.                     

Mr. Partridge, from a select committee, reported a bill entitled,
an act to change the name of Washington A. D. Ridgway, of
the city of Baltimore, to that of Washington A. Danskin, Jr.

Which was read the first time.                                               

Mr. Loughridge, from a select committee, reported a bill enti-
tled, an act to authorise the Washington Hotel company to issue
coupons, bonds, and secure the payment thereof by a deed of
trust of all its property;

Which was read the first time.
The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mes-

sage:

February 21st, 1866.
To the Hon'ble House of Delegates:                               

Gentlemen—We propose, your honorable body concurring, to
appoint a joint committee authorised to examine so much of the
accounts of the Treasurer of Maryland, as may be embraced in
