Mr. Carper, from the Committee on Internal Improvements,
reported favorably on the Senate bill entitled, an act amendatory
of an act entitled, an act to incorporate the Metropolitan Rail
Road Company, passed January session, 1853.
Mr. Sudler, from the Committee on Colored Population, re-
ported favorably on the Senate bill entitled, an act to authorise
the County Commissioners of Harford county to sell or manumit
certain negro slaves belonging to said county.
Mr. Smith, of Carroll County, from a select committee, re-
ported a bill entitled, an act in favor of the Western Rail Road
Company, ignoring and waiving on the part of the State, all
cause of forfeiture by reason of the said Company's failure to
comply with any of the provisions of the original act incorporat-
ing the same, passed January session, 1862, chapter 304, and
further amendatory of said act;
Which was read the first time, and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.
Mr. Hall, from a select committee, reported a bill entitled, an
act for the relief of the sureties on the bond of Thomas W. Vin-
son, former collector of the Fourth Election District of Mont-
gomery county;
Which was read the first time, and referred to the Committee
on Ways and Means.
Mr. Daniel, from a select committee, reported a bill entitled,
an act to revive and amend the act of 1853, chapter 250, entitled,
an act to incorporate the Mutual Insurance Company of Somerset
county;
Which was read the first time.
