Also unfavorably on a bill entitled, an act to repeal an act en-
titled, an act to limit attachments in cases where laid in the
hands of employers, passed January session, 1852, chapter 340;

Which was adopted.

And unfavorably on a bill entitled, an act for the more perfect
registration of the free colored population of the State, and for the
augmentation of the School fund of the several counties thereof;

Which was adopted.                                              

Mr. Brengle, from the Committee on Ways and Means, re-
ported favorably on a bill entitled, an act for the relief of Thomas
J. Peirpoint and the heirs of Francis Feelemeyer, of Baltimore
county;
Also, favorably on a bill entitled, an act amendatory of an act
passed January session, 1854, chapter 249, entitled, an act for the
relief of the sureties on the bonds of John W. Baker, former el-
ector of Montgomery county;

Also, favorably on a bill entitled, an act for the relief of the
President and Trustees of Charlotte Hall School.

Mr. Stone, from the Committee on Roads, reported unfavora-
bly on the bill entitled, an act to amend an act passed at January
session, 1853, entitled, an act to lay off, open and locate a public

road in Kent county, from Chestertown to Quaker Neck;

Also, reported the bill entitled, an act to authorise the County
Commissioners of the several counties of this State to build
bridges in their respective counties, and to levy for the cost there-
of.                                       

Mr. Stone reported a bill entitled, an act to make valid a deed
from Martha A. Cooksey to Susanah H. Downing;

Which was read the first time.


Mr. Stone, from the Committee on Roads, reported unfavora-

bly on the petition of 104 citizens of Frederick city and county,
praying the passage of a law to open a street into the Barracks

field;

Which was adopted.         

Also, reported unfavorably on the petition of 62 citizens of
Frederick city, praying that the petition to open a street through
the Barracks field, may not be granted;

Which was adopted.
