king the public roads in Howard county.

Which was referred to Howard county Delegation.
On motion of Mr. Silver,

Ordered that John F. McJilton, be and he is hereby appointed
a director, on the part of the State in the Bank of Baltimore.

Which was adopted.                 

                               

On motion of Mr. Lester,                         

Leave was granted to introduce a bill to regulate the returns
of elections, for municipal offices in the city of Baltimore.

Which was referred to the Baltimore city delegation.
On motion of Mr. Hauver,                               

Leave was granted to report a bill to incorporate the Myers-
ville Brass Band, in Frederick county.

Which was referred to the committee on corporations.
On motion of Mr. Brengle,

Leave was granted to report a bill to prevent usury in certain

eases.                                                     

Which was referred to the committee on judiciary.

                     

On motion of Mr. Toadvine,                 

Leave was granted to introduce a bill granting the leave of
the Legislature to a devise in the will of William H. Dulaney, late of
Somerset county, deceased, of a house and lot in the town of
Salisbury, to the trustees of the Protestant Episcopal Church of1
said town.

Which was referred to Somerset county delegation.             

On motion of Mr. Plowden,                       

Leave was granted to bring in a bill to incorporate the village
of Leonard town, in St. Mary's county.                      

Which was referred to the St. Mary's and Charles county del-
egation.             

On motion of Mr. Whitby,

Leave was granted to introduce a bill to refund a certain amount
of money, over paid to the Treasury, by William Loockerman,
late collector of State taxes, for Caroline county;

Which was referred to the committee on Claims.
