Which was referred to the Charles and Prince George's county
Delegation.

Mr. Daniel presented the petition of sundry citizens of election
district No. 4, in Somerset county, praying for the passage of a
law prohibiting the sale of all intoxicating liquors in said dis-
trict.

Which was referred to Messrs. Daniel, Lester and Davis.

Mr. Goldsborough presented the petition of Martha Brown and
Julianna Seegar of Queen Anne's county.

Which was referred to the Queen Anne's county Delegation.

                                                                                                                                       

Mr. Daniel presented the petition of Levin Woolford, Clerk
of the Circuit Court of Somerset county, and Samuel W. Jones
Register of Wills of said county, to refund to them certain moneys
eroneously paid by them into the treasury.

Which was referred to the Somerset county Delegation.

Mr. Partridge presented a memorial of the Judges of the Or-
phan's Court for Baltimore city, praying an increase of compen-
sation per diem.

Which was referred to the Committee on Judiciary.

Mr. Sudler presented the petition of Garey H. Leverton, to
open the judgment of the court in a certain case in Kent coun-

ty.

Which was referred to the Kent County Delegation.

Mr. Dorsey presented a memorial of sundry citizens of the
State of Maryland graying the passage of a law for the better
protection of salt water terrapins;

Which was referred to the Anne Arundel county delegation.

Mr. Davis presented the petition of Wm. L. Culler and 45 oth-
er citizens of Frederick county praying a law restricting the li-
cense of hawkers and pedlars;                         

Which was referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Mr. Fiery presented a petition from sundry citizens of Wash-
ington county remonstrating against the exemption from taxation
of the Maryland and Virginia bridge in said county;

Which was referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Mr. Silver presented the petition of John Dougherty, B. W.
Boarman, and J. H. Lemmon, for the benefit of Aquila Wiles an-
insane citizen of Harford county;
