336           JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS.             [Feb. 15,

an act to prevent swine from going at large in the village of the
Head of Sassafras and its vicinity, in Kent county;           

Which was read the first time.
                                                                                       

Mr. Lester from the Select Committee reported a bill entitled,
an act to regulate the sale of goods, wares, merchandise, and
other property in the city of Baltimore;

Was read the first time and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.

Mr. Rankin from the Select Committee reported favorably on a
bill entitled, an act to change the name of Daniel Orrick Bosly to
the name of Daniel Orrich;

Was read the first time.                 

On motion of Mr. Rankin,

The rules were suspended to have the said bill read the
second time, and                                                             

On motion of Mr. Rankin,

Three fourths concurring, the said bill was read the third time,
and passed by yeas and nays as follows :
