Also the amount thereof received and retained by him as in-

former;                                           

Also the amount of fees and receipts due to him at the close of
his period of service.                                                                 

Which was, referred to the Baltimore city delegation;
Mr. Duvall submitted the following order:

Ordered, That the Adjutant General of this State, be, and he
is hereby requested to report to this House, as speedily as prac-
ticable the names of all persons holding military commissions in
this State, and also in what manner the State is districted in a
military point of view; also the State of the Arsenals and the
arms belonging to the State, and in whose hands they are and
where they are distributed, and if the said Adjutant General is
incapacitated to discharge this duty by reason of indisposition,
that a Clerk be furnished him from the regular clerical corps, or.

by appointment for this purpose.                                 

                                     

Which was read and adopted.         

On motion of Mr. Rankin,

Leave was granted to introduce a bill requiring Auctioneers in
Baltimore county to take out license;

Which was referred to the Baltimore county delegation.
On motion of Mr. Brengle,

Leave was granted to introduce a supplement to the supplement
passed at December session 1849, chapter 561, which is a sup-
plement to an act entitled, an act to incorporate the Baltimore and
Ohio Railroad Company, passed at December session 1826;

Which was referred to the Committee on Corporations.

On motion of Mr. Dowell,

Leave was granted to bring in a bill to incorporate the Mutual
Fire insurance Company of Calvert county;


Which was referred to the Committee on Corporations.

On motion of Mr. Chilcoat,

Leave was granted to introduce a bill requiring Joshua H.
Hines, Samuel P. Storm, and Pleasant Hunter late Sheriffs of
Baltimore county to make statements to the Comptroller of the
amount of State taxes due from them and to pay the same into
the treasury at such times and on such conditions as herein pro-
vided.
