Also, on a bill entitled, an act to appropriate a sum of money
to Charles W. Webster, for a compilation and codification of the
laws of this State, prepared by him.

Also, on the amendment to the bill entitled, an act to provide
for the compensation of Charles J. M, Gwinn for certain services
performed by him under the appointment of the Governor in the
Court of Appeals of Maryland.                 

Also, on a bill entitled, an act to authorize the State Treasurer,
upon the warrant of the Comptroller, to pay over to Hannah A.
Constable, widow and executrix of the late Judge Constable, the
salary of her said husband for the quarter ending October the 1st,
1855.                                     

Mr. Brengle, from the Select Committee, reported favorably
on a bill entitled, an act to authorize the County Commissioners
of Frederick county, at their discretion, to levy a sum of money,
to construct a bridge across Tom's creek, in Frederick coun-

ty.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Bowie, from Committee on Ways and Means, reported, fa-
vorably on a bill entitled, an act for the relief of the sureties on
the official bonds of Thomas H. Osbourne of Chas., former col-
lector for the third collection district of Prince George's coun-

Mr. Rankin, from the Committee on Pensions, reported favor-
ably on a bill entitled, an act to allow a pension to Catharine S.
McKim, widow of Alexander McKim, a private in the Cavalry,
in the war of the Revolution and appropriating a sum of money
for the payment.

Also, on a petition of H. M. Fitzhugh, administrator D. B. N.
of Wm. Fitzhugh.
On motion of Mr. Rankin,               

The rules were suspended to enable the Baltimore county del-

egation to introduce a bill incorporating the Carroll's Island Com-
pany of Baltimore county.

                                     

Also, a bill for changing the name of Daniel Orick Bosley to
Daniel Orick.
