Mr. Fiery submitted the following order:

Ordered, That the rule adopted by this House, all requiring
ills to be printed, be and is hereby rescinded,

On motion of Mr. Hall,

The House was called and the following members answering
to their names, the doorkeeper was sent after the absentees;

Messrs. Speaker, Griffith, Sudler, Dorsey, Waters, Wilson of
Calvert, Wright, Clark, Toadvine, Dail, Frazier, Thomas, Mil-
ler, Bowie, Goldsborough, Parker, Timmons, Smith, of Worces-
ter, Brengle, Carper, Jarrett, Whitby, Partridge, Smith, of Bal-
timore city, Abbott, Askew, Fiery, Witmer, Reichard. Loughridge,
Hall, Tower, Kildow, Frey, Smith, of Carrol, Buffington, Stew-
art, Rowles, Kennedy.                             

On motion of Mr. Partridge,
The said order was postponed till to-morrow.
On motion of Mr. Timmons,                                         

Leave was granted the Worcester county delegation to bring
in a bill to make valid certain devises and bequests of Ann P.
White, late of Worcester county, deceased.

Also, leave to bring in a bill to provide for the transcribing of
certain records in the Register's office of Worcester county.

Which was referred to the Worcester county delegation.
On motion of Mr. Harding,                   

Leave was granted the Montgomery county delegation to re-
port a bill authorizing and requiring the Commissioners of Taxes
of Montgomery county to levy a sum of money for the relief of
Martha Henly and children.                   

On motion of Mr. Carper,

The rules were suspended, to enable him to report a bill enti-
tled, an act to appoint an additional magistrate in Jackson Dis-
trict, Frederick county;             

Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee
on Judiciary.                                                                             

On motion of Mr. Rowles,

The rules were suspended to enable him to present a petition
of sundry citizens of Howard county, asking for a change of the
place of holding elections in the third election district of said

county,
