A bill entitled, an act to authorize the County Commissioners
of Charles county to sell and dispose of certain warehouse prop-
erty in said county,

Which was read the second time.                                       

A bill entitled, an act releasing the Register of Wills of
St. Mary's county from the necessity of reporting semi-annually
to the Comptroller of this State the amount of emoluments of
his office,                                           

Was read the second time.

The Secretary of the Senate delivered yesterday a memorial
of H. M. Fitzhugh, administrator of William Fitzhugh, de-
ceased;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Committee
on Pensions.

On motion of Mr. Silver,
The House adjourned.

SATURDAY, February 9th, 1856.

The House, met. Present at the Call of the roll the following
members:                                                   

Messrs. Speaker, Griffith, Sudler, Waters, Wilson, of Calvert,
Dowell, Rankin, Wright, Cullings, Heath, Dail, Thomas, Scott,
Miller, Bowie, Bowling, Goldsborough, Parker, Smith, of Wor-
cester, Brengle, Carper, Stack, Kennedy, Partridge, Abbott,
Valiant, Lester, Hugg, Harrington, Fiery, Witmer, Reichard,
Loughridge, Hall, Tower, Kildow, Brown, Smith of Carroll,
Buffington, Rowles.                       

Tie proceedings of yesterday were read.

Mr. Carper presented a petition from sundry citizens of Freder-
ick county in reference to unequal taxation.
