Also a bill entitled, an act to authorize the mayor and council-
men of the city of Cumberland to issue the bonds of said city
for the purpose of procuring a plentiful supply of pure and whole-
some water;

Which was referred to the Committee on Corporations.

On motion of Mr. Bowie,                     

Leave was granted to introduce a bill for rebuilding the bridge
over the Patuxent river known as the Priest bridge;

Which was referred to the Anne Arundel and Prince George's
county delegation.                     

On motion of Mr. Heath,                                    

Leave was granted to introduce a bill to be entitled, an act for
the protection of manufacturers of, and dealers in furniture in the
city of Baltimore.

Which was referred to the Committee on Judiciary.

On motion of Mr. Kildow,

Leave was granted to introduce a bill to make valid a deed
from the Llangollen Mining Company to Cornelius Kight.

Also to make valid a deed from the Llangollen Mining Com-
pany to Patrick McGuire;

Also to make valid a deed from the Llangollen Mining Com-
pany to John M. Kight;

Also to make valid a deed from the Llangollen Mining Com-
pany to Wm. M. Owens;                                                   

Also to make valid a deed from the Llangollen Mining Com-
pany to Isaac Kalbaugh;                                                               

Also to make valid a deed from the Llangollen Mining Com-
pany to Michael Halfpenny;

Also to make valid a deed from, the Llangollen Mining Com-
pany to Andrew Mullen;

Wills of St. Mary's county from the necessity of reporting the
annual emoluments of his office to the comptroller,
