county praying the Legislature to pass a law authorizing the com-
missioners of said county to levy a sufficient sum of money to
build a bridge over Toms Creek in said county on the great road
leading from Emmittsburg to Middleburg;             

Which was referred to the Frederick county delegation.

Mr. Goldsborough presented a petition of William J. Emory
of Queen Anne's county, asking for the payment of money due his
mother, a revolutionary pensioner;

Which was referred to the Committee on Pensions.

Mr. Heath presented a memorial of the heirs-at-law of Robert
Turner late of Baltimore county deceased, praying the sale of
certain property;

Which was referred to the Baltimore county delegation.

Mr. Plowden presented a petition of sundry citizens of St.
Mary's county, praying the passage of an act, for the incorpora-
tion of Leonardtown in said county.                                     

Which was referred to the St. Mary's county delegation.

Mr. Stubbs presented a petition of the Orphans' Court of Cecil
county for increased compensation per diem;
Which was referred to the Committee on Judiciary.

Mr. Dorsey presented the petition of 149 citizens of Anne
Arundel county asking the repeal of the law of 1864, chapter 3,
entitled, an act for the protection of wild fowl in the waters of
said county;                                                     

Which was referred to the Anne Arundel county delegation.

Mr. Harding presented a memorial of W. C. Reddall praying
the repeal of an art passed May 3rd, 1853;

Which was refered to the Committee on Judiciary.

On motion of Mr. Carper,                                         

Leave was granted to introduce a bill authorizing the voters of
Jackson district in Frederick county to elect an additional Mag-
istrate.                                                                                 

Which was referred to the Committee on Judiciary.

On motion of Mr. Stone,
Leave was granted to introduce a Bill to make valid a deed
from James L. Dyson and others to William E. Burtles.

Which was referred to the Charles county delegation.

On motion of Mr. Harrington,

Leave was granted to introduce a bill to confer Criminal juris-
diction in certain cases upon the Justices of the Peace, for the
city of Baltimore;
