Hauver, Wolfe, Duvall, Jarrett, Silver, Whitby, Stack, Kennedy,
Partridge, Smith, of Baltimore city, Abbott, Valiant, Lester,
Hugg, Askew, Harrington, Fiery, Reichard, Corby, Loughridge,

The proceedings of yesterday were read.

Mr. Smith of Carroll, presented a petition from the officers
of the Manchester Savings Institution, praying to have the char-
ter of the Institution so amended as to grant them the power to
issue a limited amount of notes as a circulating medium.
