building and maintaining of joint fences in St. Mary's county. "

tors Chesley, Mudd and Joy. ]

Also House Bill No. 466, entitled "An Act to authorize the
Board of County School Commissioners of Carroll county to
refund to Mary A. Baker, of Carroll county, State of Mary-
land, administratrix of J. Frank Baker, of said county and
State, deceased, ninety-three dollars and seventy-five cents,
less 5 per centum, for money paid by the said J. Frank Baker,
in his lifetime, for an unused liquor license issued in said
Carroll county. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed
by yeas and nays. "] [Which was read the first time and re-
ferred to Senators Warfield, Ogden and Allen. ]

Also House Bill No. 94, entitled "An Act relating to motion-
picture films, reels or stereopticon views or slides; providing
a system of examination, approval and regulation thereof, and
of the banners, posters and other like advertising matter used
in connection therewith; creating the Board of Censors, and
providing penalties for the violation of this Act. " [Endorsed:
"Read the third time and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which
was read the first time and referred to the Commit ee on Fi-
nance. ]

Also House Bill No. 640, entitled "An Act to repeal certain
sections of the charter of Crisfield (Chapter 529 of the Acts
of 1910), now known as Sections 58, 59, 62, 71, 76, 78, 79, 85,
86, 87, 88, 89, 100, 100 A and 100-B of the Code of Public Local
Laws, Article 20, title 'Somerset County, ' and sub-title 'Cris-
field, ' relating to the conduct of municipal affairs in Crisfield,
and to re-enact the same, with amendments. " [Endorsed:
"Read the third time and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which
was read the first time and referred to Senators Parsons, Shep-
herd and Harrison. ]

Also House Bill No. 721, entitled "An Act to prohibit the
sale of spirituous or fermented liquors within one (1) mile of
Riggs Mills, situated in Election District No. 17, in Prince
George's county. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed
by yeas and nays. "] [Which teas read the first time and re-
ferred to the Committee on Temperance. ]
