Also House Bill No. 670, entitled "An Act to authorize and
direct the Police Commissioners for the City of Baltimore to
pay out of the Special Fund a pension to Mrs. Edward B.
Smith, widow of Edward B. Smith, formerly motorcycle police-
man in the City of Baltimore, who was injured about his head
by falling from his motorcycle while in the discharge of his
duty as policeman. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and
passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was read the first time
and referred to the City Senators. ]

Also House Bill No. 527, entitled "An Act to repeal Chap-
ter 788, passed by the General Assembly of Maryland, 1906,
entitled 'An Act to prevent the killing of foxes while being
chased by hounds followed by hunters in Caroline and Carroll
counties, so far as the same is applicable to Caroline county, '

and to re-enact same, Avith amendments. " [Endorsed: "Read
the third time and passed by yeas and nays. ''] [Which was
read the first time and referred to Senators Cooper, Warfield
and Shepherd. ]

Also House Bill No. 754, entitled "An Act to repeal and
reenact, Avith amendments Section 12 of Chapter 182 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the
January Session of the year 1914, being 'An Act to provide
for the election of a County Treasurer for Worcester county
and to prescribe his duties and to determine his authority, and
to fix his compensation and to establish generally a new sys-
tem for the speedy and prompt collection of taxes in Wor-
cester county. ' " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed
by yeas and nays"] [Which was read the first time and re-
ferred to Senators Harrison, Bennett and Shepherd. ]

Also House Bill No. 489, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-
enact, with amendments, Section 1 of Chapter 556 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the
January Session, 1890, entitled 'An Act to regulate and limit
the sum to be paid for public printing in Kent county. ' " [En-
dorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas and nays. "]
[Which was read the first time and referred to Senators Brown,
Legg and Collier. ]

Also House Bill No. 609, entitled "An Act to require the
County Commissioners to erect signboards at crossings and
