of five hundred dollars ($500) in, any one year. The Com-
mission shall adopt such rules and by-laws for the conduct of
its business as it may deem necessary. '"
No. 3—"Strike out all of Section 4 on pages 2 and 3 of the
printed Bill, and insert in lieu thereof the following:
' Section 4. The Commission shall appoint an engineer at
an annual salary not exceeding f 2, 500, who shall have had ex-
perience in scientific and practical work, relating to fish and
shell fish. He shall have charge of surveying and marking
natural oyster bars, reserved areas, leased bottoms, crabbing
grounds, clam grounds, fish hatcheries, and any other area
set apart by the Commission for special purposes. He shall
also have immediate charge of the experimental work con-
ducted by the Commissioners in the propagation of oysters,
fish and clams, and he shall also be allowed necessary traveling
expenses and disbursements incurred in the discharge of his
official duties, not to exceed $250 per annum.
'The Commission shall have all the powers and shall assume
the duties now performed by the Commander of the State
Fishery Force. They shall have charge of all boats now or
hereafter composing the State Fishery Force or Oyster Navy;
which shall be charged with the execution of the laws relating
to oysters, clams, fish, crabs, terrapin, wild ducks, wild geese
arid all other water game and fur-bearing animals. And they
shall also appoint the commanders of the boats of the State
Fishery Force, and the commanders shall appoint their respec-
tive crews. The salaries of the commanders and crews shall
be those now or hereafter provided by law for deputy com-
manders of the State Fishery Force and the crews of the ves-
sels of the said force.
The Commission shall have all the powers and perform
all the duties now performed by the State Game Warden.
They shall appoint and issue commissions to such game war-
dens in various parts of the State as they may deem advis-
able, with power to revoke and annul any such appointments
at his pleasure. The said game wardens shall have all the
powers and duties and receive the same compensation as the
deputy game wardens now have and receive, or as may be
hereafter prescribed by law, and they shall report to the Com-
mission at such times and in such way as the Commission shall
designate. '"
No. 4—"On page 4 in line 90 of Section 5 of the printed
Bill, after the word 'Commissioners, ' strike out the word
'and, ' and insert a comma; and on line 91 of said section
