SUBJECT: WATER AND SEWERS IN WESTERNPORT

—ALLEGANY COUNTY.

Amendment proposed by Committee: "On page 2 of the
Bill, in line 14, after the word 'county, ' insert the word
'State. ' Add a new section to the Bill to be known as Sec-
tion 5 and to read as follows:

'Section 5. And be it enacted, That this Act is an emergency
law and necessary for the immediate preservation of the pub-
lic health and safety, and having been passed by a yea and nay
vote, supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each
of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage. '" [Which was read
and adopted. ] [Which favorable report was adopted, which
