Also House Bill No. 133, entitled "An Act to provide for the
construction and establishment of sewers, sewerage systems
and sanitation in Baltimore county, providing the ways and
means therefor, apportioning the cost thereof, and authorizing
the County Commissioners of Baltimore county to pledge the
credit of the county and to issue promissory notes for in-
debtedness incurred on account thereof, and for the payment
of the same, and limiting the amount of such indebtedness for
which they may pledge the credit of Baltimore county, and
repealing all Public Local or Public General Laws of Mary-
land inconsistent with the provisions of this Act to the ex-
tent of such inconsistency. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time
and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was read the first
time and referred to Senators Allen, Frick and Warfield. ]

Also House Bill No. 485, entitled "An Act to authorize and
empower the State Roads Commission of Maryland to pur-
chase and take over the Monocacy and Urbana Turnpike Road
Company of Frederick county, situate in Frederick county,
and to construct and maintain the same as a State road. n
[Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas and
nays. "] [Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Finance. ]

Also House Bill No. 331, entitled "An Act to add a new
and additional section to Article 27 of the Annotated Code
of Public General Laws of Maryland (Bagby's Code), title
'Crimes and Punishments, ' sub-title 'False Pretenses, ' " [En-
dorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas and nays. "]
[Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings. ']

Also House Bill No. 589, entitled "An Act to authorize and
empower the County Commissioners of Queen Anne's county
to borrow upon the faith and credit of said county a sum not
exceeding sixty thousand dollars ($60, 000) and to issue and
sell coupon bonds therefor, for the purpose of building and
improving public roads and for the building of new bridges
and culverts wherever the County Roads Engineer of Queen
Anne's county and the County Commissioners may deem it
necessary, and for the purpose of building and improving
public roads under the provisions of Chapter 225 of the Acts
of 1904 and amendments thereto, known as the State Aid
or Shoemaker Road Law, and to provide for the levy and col-
lection of taxes to meet the interest and principal of said
bonds as and when the same shall become due. " [Endorsed:
